Slip Covered Patio Chairs
By Stephanie on May 26, 2010
It is REALLY windy in this part of my yard, it is a little area that sits on top of a hill. I mean crazy windy, gust and everything. Would you believe that this is my second iron gazebo in this spot? Yep, the first one blew over the hill into pieces! Seriously, that is how windy it is sometimes. Luckily, I was able to get another one, and this time we anchored it down in the ground. I never replaced the patio set that went down the hill along with the gazebo. I saw this fun green little set at Homegoods and I knew it was just the right one to brighten up the gazebo, so home it came. But once I put it in there, it just wasn’t looking right. The overall feel of the iron next to the metal table and chairs was too much. It need to be softened with some fabric. So it was on to plan “b”, attempt to slip cover the chairs.

A solution for my pots and urns
By Stephanie on May 12, 2010
I am not a photographer by any means, but I was given a nice camera for my birthday last year and it happened to be around my neck as I was walking through my yard, so I just started snapping pictures. I was admiring the beautiful day through my camera lens, taking random pictures of some of the areas I love in my backyard.
But as I was taking the pictures, I noticed something. Most of my pots and urns had dead plants in them or none at all.

Train Case Planter & Garden Sign
By Stephanie on May 10, 2010
I saw two of the cutest train cases at a flea market that were painted white and wrapped in burlap and lace . They were just stunning! I came so close to buying them, but they were a little too big for where I wanted to put them. This weekend, I attempted to recreate what I feel in love with. But I couldn’t bring myself to paint this cool teal color of my train case, so I left it as it was. I opted not to do the burlap but just the lace. I still love the other one I saw, and I might buy it if I see it again, but for now this little cutie resides by my garden.

Chair planter
By Stephanie on May 3, 2010
I went to a flea market type sale on Friday. Picked up this cutest chair to go with to my old bike. I love all the things she put on it. A hose, a bucket turned on it’s side with flowers coming out of it. The “bliss” letters made out of old sign letters and the iron looking crowns on the top of the chair. Very eclectic don’t you think?
