I have always wanted some ghost chairs
I think they are versatile for any decor style. I have seen them paired with rustic
And with vibrant modern rooms
When I saw these come up on Hautelook one day I bought a couple. They are copy cats of the original, but that was ok with me. When I got them delivered last week, I was surprised how small they actually were in person. But I still love them! I bought 4 of them, and once I saw the scale of them, I had to re-think where I was going to put them. I took some pictures yesterday of two of them in their resting place. The problem is, this room is really hard to photograph, especially when you are an amateur photographer like me.
I took a lot more pictures, but they just didn’t turn out that well. I really want to get a post up with pictures of this whole room and how it all came together. There is a lot of fun stuff going on in this room that I would love to share with you. I am going to practice this week with my camera {and manual} and see if I can do better in the photographic department. But I just had to give you a sneak peek how they looked, I am so happy to finally own some Ghost chairs!

your photos are nice! You are clearly very humble. I’ve not been a huge fan of those chairs before, but seeing them in your room makes me reconsider. They look great.
I adore your ghost chairs, especially the pair in your bedroom. They would go perfectly in my house. You’ve just sparked a desire for some on my end. I’ve seen them before, loved them, but they styles that I’ve seen were always too retro but the ones in your bedroom look like the ghost of a former French Provincial chair almost. I live in a 1550 sq. foot home so something that would be PERFECT for the tiny spaces in terms of keeping it open, light, airy, etc. I knew I loved you! I can’t wait to see your entire living room? with the orange sofa. You’d never know it in my home necessarily, but I love orange, yellow, and red.
I didn’t see them on Hautelook anymore (stuff comes & goes so quickly) but I found them on Amazon. $289ish for a set of two (similar, if not the same, to the ones in your bedroom.) Is that a good deal in comparison to what you paid via Hautelook?

I love how the ghost chairs were used on the second picture. Home-style meets modern appeal! There are louis ghost chairs that look exactly like those used there.
