You all know my passion is interior design, but I also love weddings and events. So in order to feed my addiction of all things weddings, I have an Etsy shop that I make and sell silk flower balls and bouquets. I love my little Etsy shop and working with brides.
The most amazing thing happened to my little Etsy shop today. I got an email this morning stating I was on the Etsy front page. Are you kidding me? I thought for sure it was some type of advertisement scam. I clicked on it just in case and it was legitimate! I can not tell you how loud I squeeled. Two years I have had my shop open and never once had I ever been on their front page. Not that I ever thought I would be, there are a TON of sellers with awesome creative items, but it has always been a secret dream to be on there.
I took a screen shot since I knew it would be gone in a couple of hours. I wanted to savor it for as long as I could
Mine is the third picture on the left, the white and green ranuncula flowers. It just made my day.
I also sent out my second international order today, {my first being to Japan} to the country of Azerbaijan. Never heard of it, have you? Here is where it is located.
So all in all, today was a GREAT day. I am still floating from it all.

Stephanie, this is so cool! Congrats! I so wish I had thought of this when my sister was having her wedding reception in California (I wasn’t there, but I was at the wedding in Holland a week prior). That would have been a nice surprise to send her. Nice to see that your beautiful creations get the attention they deserve!

Congrats on the front page feature. Have you seen more page views since then. I used to have an Etsy shop a long time ago, but didn’t keep it up. I have a few items left from it that I may make a page for on my blog to sell until they are gone. I think it is so cool that you are selling stuff to people in other countries. Gotta love the internet for that.
Thanks for comment on my blog about the tub. It is nice being able to work in a room that no one is using. I can make a big mess and not have to worry. I hope you have a great weekend.
