Homegoods furniture makeover
We are in the process of re-doing my daughter Tiffany’s room, my gift to her for her 20th birthday. She still lives at home while going to college, and she wanted a more sophisticated room now that she is older. We got rid of all the pink walls, and painted them white with an accent wall of gray. Her new color pallet is mint green and white with accents of pink, gray and gold. She is very cre8tive like her momma, and has a great eye for style. It has been fun to work with her on her new room transformation.
The only furniture piece we have kept in her room is her bed. So we have been shopping for unique pieces to fit her new look. She needed a chest for next to her bed and I spotted the perfect one at Homegoods. It was the perfect shape, and the right height but the wrong color
Usually if I am going to makeover a piece of furniture, I get it fairly cheap at an estate sale or a thrift shop. But this time I bit the bullet and paid full price and still did a makeover on it. And I don’t regret one bit
