Home Decorators Pinterest contest-”Be a guest stylist”
When I saw that Home Decorators Collection was having a Pinterest contest, I jumped at the chance to enter. I mean come on, I love everything decor and we all know I like to pin! And it isn’t the kind where you have to get votes, thank goodness. The winner is selected by their stylist team.
I read the rules and thought I had hit a glitch that I couldn’t enter when I read this:
“Professional Interior Decorators (those who make more than 50 percent of their income from interior design) are not eligible to participate or win.” Ha! I am sure my husband would love it if my professional interior design career paid half of the bills! So I was good to go, and off I went a pinning from their site.
This is the bedroom I created. Serene, soft color palette of blues, linens and grays. Using light oak furniture pieces and decor to pull in some texture
I loved this artwork I used. I think it would be a fun DIY project especially with Valentines right around the corner
The rules weren’t specific as to whether you had to create just a bedroom or just a bathroom, so I covered my bases and did both. The same style and palette continued on into the bathroom
