Never Get So Busy Making a Living..stencil giveaway
Life seems to just whoosh by doesn’t it? When I saw this saying on Pinterest, it really made me think of how true it really does, like where has February already gone?
This weekend my daughter and her friends came over to have me teach them how to make a sign. I thought that using this saying would be perfect first sign for them to make. We easily forget sometimes in our daily grind to stop and take time to make a life, so having a little sign to remind us of this can’t hurt right?
If you are going to drive a Range Rover, buy like you own a Range Rover!
Ever have those moments where you just go huh? Really?
Something I actually made without Pinterest inspiration
There is SO much inspiration on Pinterest, sometimes I wonder if it makes me not be as creative as I used to be when I didn’t have Pinterest. Anyone else feel that way?
Last month I was pinning a lot of Christmas inspiration ideas on Pinterest, and of course I ran out of time to do all the items I was inspired by. I was able to get this quick and easy ornament flower holder done. Well, my version that is.
It is an ornament glued to a small round mirror to hold flowers. For mine, I used light bulb ornaments that I got in a 3 pack from the dollar store
Christmas Subway Style Sign
I am getting to know my Silhouette machine a little better. It really is a fun machine to play with, especially to make signs. Which I recently did this last weekend, and I must say, it is addicting once you get the hang of it.
Subway style Christmas signs and printables are all over blogland and Pinterest, and I was itching to make one myself. I am also loving the use of turquoise and red everyone is using for decorating this year.
Chandelier artwork
If you know me, you know I have a love for chandeliers. Old, new, large, small, it doesn’t matter I love them all. I am a sucked into any room that has a chandelier. So when I saw this cool chandelier artwork on 4men1lady blog I was in love. It is from a store in Vegas called Ninush
At first glance I thought this was made out of metal. Doesn’t it look like the chandelier is cut out from a metal box? I really can’t say for sure, and there wasn’t anywhere on their website where it was for sale, so I guess I will never know.
Tufting a coffee table..my version
First of all, today has been a fun day for this little blog. I am excited to have Shannon and Nate’s kitchen featured on Remodelaholic today. Woohoo! I love Cassity’s blog, if you have never been to her site it is a must read. Check out her revamp of a hutch that you will not believe the before to the after. It is a must see.
Then Melissa, from Made in the South listed me as one of her “Fabulous Friday Four” blogs today. Wow, that was a huge surprise and such an honor. Just to think that someone other than my family likes my blog always floors me! Go check out the other bloggers she listed today, you won’t be disappointed. {I already pinned a lot of their stuff lol}
